| A while back we read an article about our declining economic crisis and how important it is during these rough times to support our own communities. How true that statement is. If we buy locally produced milk, locally grown food, locally produced meats, we are helping the local farmers. If we buy gifts from local artists, we are helping our neighbors, if we buy locally manufactured items of any kind - we are helping our own community. This is where the idea for the Connecticut Country Store began. If we can help our neighbors be sustainable, if we can help local farmers sell their products, if we can help local artists sell their goods, then we can help support our own community.
